He is a member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Association of Osteopaths (NSAO). The initial visit will involve posture screening, evaluating joint range of motion, discussing health history, and a treatment. Treatment may include myofascial release, joint manipulations, cranio-sacral techniques, and home care exercises. Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach, suitable for all ages. The goal is to facilitate health and optimize systemic function using the various hands-on techniques for the musculoskeletal system and other associated conditions that arise due to dysfunction through the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to his Osteopathic training, Alex graduated with Honours from York University in Toronto, ON with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science in 2012. He utilizes the Functional Movement Systems screening assessment tool to highlight discrepancies in movement patterns with his clients.
